Buying situationEvidence for the decision
Only a nominal volume is availableRequest actual opening and load evidence for the candidate. A volume is not a set of dimensions or proof that the particular suitcase shapes can pass through the access.
Demonstration uses fewer passengers than requiredRepeat the normal arrangement with the necessary seats retained. A folded-seat result does not establish luggage fit for the airport journey the buyer plans.
One bag must be omitted or arranged differentlyRetain that limitation before approval and ask whether the customer accepts it. Do not advertise the full specified load as verified when the demonstration covered less.
01

Write the load and passenger arrangement

List the usual suitcases, bags and number of occupants, including their actual sizes where available. A dealer serving airport customers needs a defined task rather than a general request for generous luggage space. Keep the seats needed for the trip occupied or in their ordinary positions. Use the cabin and loading review to connect passengers with cargo. Do not base approval on maximum capacity with seats folded if that arrangement removes a required place. The buying question concerns the routine the customer will perform, not the largest published figure for an unspecified C-Class.

02

Identify the actual body and boot configuration

Confirm the offered saloon through the body record and establish the fitted access, floor and seating features. Another C-Class body or model-family reference should not supply missing information. Ask which relevant loading features are included and how their presence was verified. If seat folding or another function matters, demonstrate it appropriately instead of assuming it from a trim name. Keep any spare-wheel or accessory arrangement that affects usable space visible. The buyer needs the configuration actually supplied, so a reference image or nominal body description cannot silently substitute for the candidate's real boot.

03

Measure access as well as usable space

Request relevant opening and load-area measurements with the method and reference points stated. A suitcase can be smaller than the apparent internal space yet difficult to pass through the opening. Have an appropriate operator assess the route into the compartment without forcing items or damaging surfaces. Keep photographs and measurements matched to the car. Do not turn one broad dimension into a guarantee for all bag shapes. Where the essential load cannot be demonstrated, record the evidence still needed before acceptance rather than conclude it must fit because a volume figure exceeds the luggage estimate.

04

Demonstrate the complete normal load

Place the specified items appropriately using applicable loading guidance and check that ordinary access can close and function without interference. Include the features or moving areas relevant to the actual configuration and secure the load as instructed. Do not arrange loose items unsafely merely to prove a maximum. Record which bags were used and what passenger setup remained. A seller demonstrating one small case establishes that limited task, not the full airport brief. The dealer should have a repeatable result the customer can understand, including any item requiring a different arrangement or making the candidate unsuitable.

05

Inspect the parts that make loading usable

Review relevant trim, floor, access controls and disclosed repairs within an appropriate scope. A used car can have usable volume but a functional or condition concern affecting the task. Obtain qualified assessment of material findings instead of guessing the failed component from a remote video. Price compatible preparation and appropriate rechecks where needed. Keep a cosmetic standard separate from a function required for the airport routine. If the customer needs repeated easy loading, a demonstration of that actual task is more useful than a seller assurance that the model is common in transport use.

06

Retain the demonstrated load in acceptance

Write the accepted body, supplied configuration, luggage set and required passenger arrangement into the buying file. Keep photographs and limits with the candidate. New proposals need delivered-equipment review; used ones additionally need present condition and relevant work evidence. A substitute should repeat essential loading checks rather than inherit approval from similar model wording. The receiving team should know what was assessed and which items were included. This supports a specific luggage-fit recommendation without claiming universal airport capacity or treating a litres figure as proof that every suitcase set can be carried with every passenger group.

If airport journeys are the intended service, the business-transport requirements connect the verified luggage arrangement with passenger access and the agreed condition standard.

Buyer questions

Does boot volume prove suitcase fit?

No. Assess the opening and actual load arrangement on the candidate.

Can folded-seat space answer a full-passenger airport brief?

Only if the required seating is genuinely retained; otherwise it describes a different task.
